At Fraser Woods Montessori School all aspects of our school community work together as an integrated whole.  Our community of teachers, students, families and administration function as a large extended family in a learning environment that serves everyone.

Faculty

Our teachers are passionate about sharing the world with your children by nurturing your children’s curiosity and encouraging their pursuit of learning.

The school is committed to continuing staff development to keep faculty abreast of new concepts and opportunities in education.

Students

Children are born learners.  They want to learn about everything they come in contact with. Through Self-guidance, the child begins to develop the skills and appreciation necessary to realizing his/her full potential as a contributing member of his/her classroom community.

Families

Our parents contribute to our learning partnership in many ways. They share their heritage and fields of expertise in our classrooms. They participate in their children’s education through parent education workshops, conferences, Curriculum Night, Parent/Child Night, classroom observations and volunteering in the classroom or on field trips.

They support our Parent Association with their time. Some parents serve on the Board of Trustees overseeing policy and financial matters of the school. While many families contribute far more, each family is expected to volunteer at least ten hours each year.

Fraser Woods Montessori School asks each family to consider a tax deductible donation to the Annual Fund. These funds help bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of educating each student. The goal is participation rather than the size of the donation.
