Fraser Woods Annual Fund
The spirit of philanthropy is evident by our community’s support of FWM’s Annual Fund. Each year we are fortunate to use financial donations to enhance and enrich our programs at FWM. A special thank you to our alumni families, grandparents, and community partners for their continued support.
FWM relies on tuition revenue to support its operating budget. Donations help us to bridge the gap between tuition and the cost of delivering a robust program to our children. This tax deductible gift is important regardless of its size. In addition many companies offer a matching gift program, thus increasing donations to FWM.
A gift to the Annual Fund is one way for you to say “We love our school and support the mission of FWM and all the school does or has done for our children.” Your gift is an investment in every student, teacher, and classroom at Fraser Woods Montessori School!
We are proud of all we have accomplished and excited about what lies ahead. We invite all of our families, friends, grandparents, and alumni to make a personal contribution to support FWM in the important work of cultivating life-long learners. FWM students thrive in our authentic Montessori environments where joy, self-discovery, collaboration, and curiosity thrive. We continually strive to keep tuition affordable and the Annual Fund provides vital funding for improvements to our classrooms and campus. FWM is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and any donations are tax deductible.

The Myriam Woods Fund for Teacher Training and Development
Named in honor of our long-standing Head of School (1990-2016), the Myriam Woods Fund for Teacher Training and Development supports the transformative work our teachers do here at FWM.
Throughout her tenure, Myriam believed in and supported Montessori training and professional development for all faculty and staff at FWM.
Research shows that an inspiring and informed teacher is the most important school-related factor influencing student achievement. Myriam knew this to be true and founded her school on providing a Montessori program of excellence for all students.
The Myriam Woods Teacher Training and Development Fund will ensure professional development opportunities for staff; allow for teacher training to remain ongoing for teacher recruitment and retention and provide monies for classroom enhancements.
What Myriam built was and still remains a transformative educational experience for students.
Those of us who are lucky enough to have worked with Myriam or who have had children or grandchildren pass through the doors of FWM has experienced the nurturing environment that is the springboard to ignite each individual’s infinite curiosity to pursue discovery and imagination, to live and breathe moral responsibility and social justice, and live as compassionate, confident, joyful citizens of the world.
In short, we want this Fund to celebrate Myriam Woods’ achievements and guarantee her legacy of excellence in Montessori education.
The Community Fund
The Community Fund aims to support current Fraser Woods families who, as a result of unforeseen circumstances, require short term (one year or less) financial assistance. This fund may support any expenses necessary for a family to meet the financial obligations of attending FWM. Funding is intended to cover costs in a given school year and will be allocated according to need and availability. This is a restricted fund and therefore does not provide relief to the annual operating budget.
